does lady gaga's bad romance conform or subvert to the codes and conventions of a typical pop video

Lady Gaga's was released in 2009 and entered the chart at 9 and peaked at no 2 over all. it is famed for its creativity and unusual  style and sexualised performance and underlying story, about Lady gaga being sold as a sex slave.

 The video's aspects conforms to pop videos. it is flash, choreographed and has a wide ensemble of costumes and a storyline with in the video. it is an amplification of the lyrics and name of the song.
the mise en scene consists of lingerie and costumes that are sexual and expsoe alot of the body, they are flash and not casual clothing. the colours used for the costumes consist of white, black and red which are the 3 main colours that are widely used in pop music videos. she subverts with the type of costumes and the materials used. for example she wears a white PVC costume that covers her whole body except for the her chin and mouth. this subvert
